Online Learning Curriculum

Attending School Online

Students at Insight School of Minnesota (ISMN) attend school in state-of-the-art, 21st-century fashion.

The Online School (OLS) platform gives students and parents easy access to courses, daily lessons, and helpful information at any time and from anywhere in the world, wherever an internet connection is available.

Students also use the OLS to:

• Submit their class assignments
• Participate in live web classes and interactive discussions
• Connect with their teachers and reach out for extra help when needed
• Experience our many online clubs and virtual field trips

Built-in planning and progress tools allow parents to easily schedule or view their student’s lessons, log attendance, and monitor daily progress.

The system also helps everyone in the family stay connected to the exciting and important things happening at school. It’s kind of like going to traditional school but without the long bus rides and crowded hallways.

Our curriculum partner, K12, is a leader in personalized online education, having pioneered educational technologies for more than two decades.

The K12 curriculum features engaging animations, games, and video to illustrate and explain concepts, but also uses printed and other hands-on materials when most appropriate. Whether through the click of a mouse or the turning of a page, a student’s interactions with K12’s education materials help develop subject mastery, curiosity, and a passion for learning. Because when learning comes alive, everything changes.
